Digital Growth Manager

About Good Law Project

Good Law Project is a not-for-profit campaign organisation. Our mission is to achieve change through the law. We defend, define and change the law to protect the environment, uphold democracy and ensure no one is left behind. 

We are a young organisation but we have been expanding quickly, with increasingly prominent and successful legal cases, from shining a light on Government’s award of PPE contracts to stopping the prorogation of Parliament back in 2019. We are brave, honest and decisive – those are Good Law Project’s values.

We are primarily funded by small donations from members of the public and we’re proud of our committed and growing supporter base. We are now looking for a talented Digital Growth Manager to take Good Law Project to new audiences.

You will report to our Director of Fundraising. You can see how the role fits into the current GLP team at the end of this application information.

Salary: £40,000 per annum pro rata with generous benefits, including enhanced pension contribution

Hours: 35 hours per week, over 5 days

Contract type: permanent, after completion of 3 months’ probation

Location: Remote currently due to COVID-19; ultimately working in central London with some flexibility.

Essential experience and attributes

The successful candidate will: 

  • Have several years’ experience designing and implementing successful growth marketing campaigns to engage and acquire new supporters across a range of channels
  • Have an excellent eye for design and an understanding of what works on social media channels
  • Have experience producing visual content on Canva, Photoshop or Illustrator
  • Be a strong communicator, able to write compelling copy across Facebook and Instagram, whether for videos, posts or ad copy. 
  • Be comfortable working at speed in fast-paced, news driven environment
  • Be willing to do hands on delivery of content, as well as designing digital growth strategies
