For years, United Utilities has avoided accountability for polluting Manchester Shipping Canal. This is because previous court rulings have shielded them and other water companies from private legal action over their industrial-scale sewage dumping. It’s time to hold water companies accountable to clean up our waterways, which is why we’ve supported legal action to overturn these rulings.
