View our privacy policyA small charity that strives for racial equality is under attack from a far-right pundit.
For the last five years, 10,000 Interns has been creating internships to help thousands of young Black people achieve their ambitions.
But a far-right mouthpiece has launched a ludicrous legal attack on 10,000 Interns, claiming that their work to overcome inequality is “anti-white”.
Last year, people of colour were unemployed at twice the rate of white people. And when Black people apply for graduate-level jobs, they’re 33% less likely to be hired. So schemes taking action to address inequality are perfectly legal.
The far right deny this reality and parrot the MAGA movement, helping Trump to export hate and bigotry across the Atlantic.
They’re putting decades of hard-won progress towards equality in the UK at risk.
Good Law Project is supporting 10,000 Interns in its legal case. All funds raised (net of payment fees) in this crowdfunder will go directly to 10,000 Interns – for use in its defence with any surplus to support the broader work of the organisations. Given the importance of the issue, we have waived our usual 10% contribution to core costs.
