View our privacy policyThe brutal crackdown on our right to protest is happening right now, with people standing in solidarity with Palestine bearing the brunt.
From proscription laws to terrorism sentences, the state is using every tool at its disposal to criminalise dissent.
So we’re supporting people who refuse to be silenced.
One of them is Ayo, a Black Muslim doctor who was forcefully arrested and bundled into the back of a van outside Bronzefield prison after persuading the police to get an ambulance for Palestine hunger striker Qesser Zuhrah. We think the decision to arrest and detain Ayo could have been unjust and influenced by racially discriminatory factors, so we’re helping him investigate a claim against the police.
We’re also supporting another protester facing punishment for standing in solidarity with Palestine.
Throughout history, the greatest change has come from those brave enough to take to the streets. If we lose the freedom to speak out today, we lose the power to fight for anything tomorrow.
Let’s stand together to defend our right to protest on Palestine.
Your donation will go towards covering our costs for investigating Ayo’s claim and our work supporting another Palestine protestor. Any surplus will go to develop and support the work we do to stop hate and bring hope.
Ten per cent of the funds raised contribute to the general running costs of Good Law Project.
