    An investigation by Good Law Project has uncovered the huge profits made by Zoe Ley after she brokered a £250m PPE deal for Hong Kong-based Worldlink Resources – a firm who landed two huge contracts via the unlawful ‘VIP’ lane.

    Case Update Good Law Project Will Appeal High Court Decision on Trans Waiting Times

    The High Court has rejected our attempt to challenge the long waiting times experienced by trans people seeking help from the NHS. The waits are measured in years rather than weeks and months. We will seek permission from the Court of Appeal to try and overturn this decision.

    Case Update Partygate: Permission hearing in our case against the Met Police’s handling of probe into Downing Street parties

    As we mark two years since the lockdown-busting Downing Street Christmas Party, Good Law Project can confirm that there will be a hearing to decide whether we can bring our case, along with former Deputy Assistant Commissioner Lord Paddick, against the Metropolitan Police’s handling of the Partygate investigation to the High Court. That hearing will take place on 22 February 2023.

    Case Update Good Law Project visits oyster farm under threat from sewage dumping

    Tom Haward’s oyster firm (Richard Haward’s Oysters) has been in his family for eight generations, going back 300 years. He says that he has been “lucky” that his oyster beds have not been impacted by sewage dumping so far. But Tom is worried about the “immediate threat” that these discharges by water companies pose to his business and marine life around Mersea Island, if they are allowed to continue.
