We’ve worked on the war against Trans People, Access to Mental Health Treatment, Anti-Black Racism, Children in Care, Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities, Housing Rights, Violence against Women and Girls and Social Care.

We want to employ a Journalist/Campaigner to support and continue our work with and advocacy for these communities. We are offering a one-year, fixed term contract for the delivery to Good Law Project of a pipeline of relevant cases and powerful stories.

What we’re looking for:

  • Track record of powerful journalism and investigations, successfully pitching and bringing newsworthy stories to public attention
  • Experience of reporting and managing risk (whilst still retaining appetite for substantial risk)
  • Demonstrable experience of self-managing, remote working, and reporting on a regular basis to the commissioning client
  • Experience of working with open source data and proprietary databases
  • Demonstrable experience of working with different departments across an organisation
  • Great strategic nous – knowing how and when to push, and when to find another route to impact
  • Digital journalist – instinct and experience for publishing across text, video, social media
