About the Role

We are recruiting for an Administrative Assistant who has financial experience. The deadline for applications is 24 July and we hope to have the person in post as soon as possible.

We are looking for an energetic, hard-working and proactive individual to join our newly-formed team as an administrative assistant, with a particular focus on finance. This is a very exciting opportunity to play an important role in a unique law firm in its early stages. The successful candidate will be proactive, have a sense of adventure, and feel comfortable within a dynamic, rapid-paced environment. Essential experience and attributes

  • Excellent organisational, writing and verbal communication skills.
    Good IT skills, including mainstream applications.
    Experience in financial processing, including billings, invoices, recharges and reimbursements
    A willingness to get ‘stuck in’ and take on new challenges.

Good Law Practice is a not for profit law firm that has Good Law Project as its main client and also acts for other clients. Good Law Project is a not for profit organisation that uses the law for a better world. It had a primary role in overturning the prorogation of Parliament in 2019 and more recently had been shining a spotlight on the Government’s awarding of lucrative Covid contracts to their friends and associates. The Practice is an independent, SRA-regulated law firm. We are a new organisation with a friendly, energetic and motivated team. We are now planning to hire an Administrative Assistant to join us to help support and develop our work, addressing injustice, discrimination and inequality experienced by some of the most marginalised groups in our society.
