The Supreme Court has ripped up the Equality Act without hearing a single trans voice — it’s time to take on a ruling that breaks the UK’s own human rights laws
Help us challenge the Supreme Court’s judgment on trans rights

Campaign overview
As the world becomes an increasingly hostile place for trans people, we stand with the trans community to defend hard-won rights. This fight will be long – and it’ll be expensive – so we’re creating a fighting fund for both domestic and international cases, all the way up to the European Court of Human Rights. And we’re challenging the Supreme Court’s decision to tear up the Equality Act, as we believe the UK is now in breach of its obligations under the Human Rights Act and the European Convention of Human Rights.
Faced with the prospect of a judicial review, the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland withdrew advice on toilet usage. But it’s still breaking the law.
The ‘interim guidance’ that the EHRC issued after the Supreme Court’s decision on trans rights was transphobic, harmful – and legally wrong. We’re bringing a challenge in the High Court.
